Paul Koch is a Los Angeles-based film and television composer known for his vibey, propulsive scores that blend dark, modern atmospheric electronics with expressive orchestral writing. He is best known for scoring the SXSW standout Redux Redux, as well as The Block Island Sound and 13 Cameras and 14 Cameras, all collaborations with Emmy-nominated filmmakers Matt and Kevin McManus. His body of work also includes Good Ol’ Freda, directed by Oscar-nominated documentarian Ryan White, Call Her King, and A Day to Die.

In television, Koch has contributed additional music to series such as Scandal, Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker, We Are the Champions, and Weird City, executive produced by Jordan Peele.

Koch also scored the action film Black Heat, which features his song “HARD LIFE (feat. Carey Washington),” co-written and co-produced with multi-platinum artist NLE Choppa. Beyond screen work, he co-composed music for Disney’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, including the immersive dining experience Taste Around the Galaxy. He is also one half of the neo-classical electronic duo MOONROCK, whose debut album Death of a Spaceman is available everywhere.
